Best Shanghainese cuisine I’ve had! We got the soy duck, steamed soup dumplings, noodles with pork liver, and curry vermicelli soup. Every dish hit the spot. The place is run by the owner alone so there can be a bit of a wait if it gets busy. There’s some flies in the vinegar bottles unfortunately. Also it’s either cash or e-transfer.

I dined in with a larger group and we had a great experience with every dish we ordered. The portions were very generous and the hand pulled noodles were authentic. Also one of the only places in Ottawa that makes soup dumplings that were actually full of soup with a thin dumpling skin. We will definitely be coming back to eat again!

This place is by far THE BEST noodle restaurant in Ottawa, we have been around the city looking for the best noodles and we often ended up at 2 very famous places located on Downtown area... but this one is by far better than those, make yourself a favor and go check this place out. Our favourites so far are Bianbiang Soup that is in between a soup and a dry noodle and we added Braised Beef... TO DIE FOR and Dandan noodles are amazing ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED!!

Dan Dan Noodle w/ extra fried egg - I remember loving this dish from the same franchise when this was open in Kabata, and im surprised and happy to say that it is just as if not better than i remember it to be! 10/10 would come again! :)

The original hand-pull noodle restaurant in Ottawa, one of two, I believe. The owner and chef has been making noodles for more than 30 years. Excellent braised beef noodles, dan dan noodles, slice beef cold cuts, Hainan style chicken, and softshell crab fried rice.. to name a few. Very generous portions.

Noodles very chewy,, thick size recommended. Traditional beef noodles highly recommended . Also fried pancake with green onion , and Chinese sandwich with braised pork also great

The only restaurant in Ottawa that I have eaten at no less than 30 times. We often order various dishes, such as fried noodles, spicy grilled fish, and crab fried rice, and Shanghai Dim Sum, etc.
